Where do you usually rent a car?

I’ve been left without my car for a couple of weeks. The engine overheated on the road, and I even had to call a tow truck to get the car to the city and the service center. They said it needs serious repairs that will take at least two weeks. For now, I’m without my car, but I can’t go without driving, as I’m used to it. Where can I rent a vehicle temporarily?

Well, you have options with the big national rental companies like Hertz or Avis, but sometimes they have strict conditions, even regarding mileage limits. That means you won’t be able to go far, except from home to work and back. You’ll also need to plan your route if you want to make stops, like at the grocery store. If you exceed the mileage limit, they’ll charge you from the deposit. You can check options with private owners. It’s easier to make arrangements with them, and sometimes you can even get a better car. You can see where to get a rental car here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/car-rental . The important thing is to inspect the car before taking the keys and take photos of any problem areas, so you won’t end up paying for someone else’s car repairs later.
