Running multiple eBay accounts for different products

Can you actually have multiple eBay accounts to sell different types of products? Got ideas for opening separate accounts for different purposes but can't find clear information in their rules whether that's allowed or if I need to lump everything together under one account.

eBay's policies on multiple accounts are murky because they technically allow it for legitimate business reasons but crack down hard if they suspect you're dodging restrictions or manipulating feedback. Separate accounts for genuinely different product lines can work, like one for electronics and another for clothing, as long as you're transparent about it. The problem is their detection systems flag accounts that share payment methods, addresses, IP addresses, or device fingerprints. If they link your accounts and decide you're breaking rules, they'll suspend all of them simultaneously and getting reinstated is nearly impossible.

Technology these days lets you manage things that platforms would normally flag automatically. You can operate from one device while making each account appear to be in completely different locations, which keeps the platform from connecting them together. Anti-detection tools create separate digital environments so nothing leaks between your accounts when you switch. You should read about how you can maintain multiple eBay accounts this way here: https://gologin.com/blog/multiple-ebay-accounts . The article explains the technical setup for keeping accounts isolated so eBay's systems see them as unrelated sellers rather than one person running multiple storefronts.
